OHIO MAN DOUBLES UP AT SENECA ALLEGANY CASINO
Wins two jackpots within 25 minutes of each other
SALAMANCA, NEW YORK - Winning a jackpot is a reason to celebrate, but winning two in the same day would really make a day to remember. Richard Woolf had such a day at Seneca Allegany Casino yesterday.
The Warren, Ohio resident hit two jackpots, totaling $40,000 within 25 minutes of each other while visiting the Seneca Nation's facility in Salamanca.
First, Woolf hit for $36,000 playing a Triple Stars slot machine. While a slot technician from Seneca Allegany Casino was verifying the jackpot, Woolf sat down at a Red, White & Blue slot machine to pass the time. That's when lady luck struck again.
His second jackpot was for $4,000.
"Our employees and the other patrons in the casino at the time were very excited," said Gus Tsivikis, General Manager at Seneca Allegany Casino. "It was a great celebration and a day we're not going to forget, and I'm sure Mr. Woolf will certainly remember this for a long time."
Opened as a temporary facility in 2004, Seneca Allegany Casino is preparing to open its permanent gaming floor. The new gaming floor at Seneca Allegany Casino will offer 64,000 square feet of world-class gaming space, featuring more than 2,100 slot machines and 40 table games.
Scheduled to open in December, the new facility will shift the entire gaming operation from the current Seneca Allegany Casino facility into the first floor of what will be the new Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel.
