Second MegaJackpot®in two months
SALAMANCA, NEW YORK - Late last week, Seneca Allegany casino helped another patron's dreams come true.
Peter Masotto, a retired steelworker from Hermitaoe, Pennsylvania, hit a $169,580 jackpot while playing a Wheel of Fortune® quarters slot machine at the Seneca Nation's gaming and entertainment facility in Salamanca.
"My wife and I set out for Niagara Falls, but on the way a girl at the rest stop redirected us here" Masotto said. Upon realizing he had won the top prize, after investing just $30, Masotto was overcome with emotion. "I started to cry" he said. Immediate plans for the MegaJackpot� winner will include helping his three daughters and eight grandchildren.
The jackpot is the second to hit in less than two months and the fourth MegaJackpot® to be paid in a recent run of jackpots at the Seneca Allegany Casino.
Seneca Allegany has now awarded twelve MegaJackpot� prizes since August 2004, bringing the casino's total MegaJackpotT payout to nearly $4 million.
