SENECA ALLEGANY CASINO RECRUITING EMPLOYEES FOR NEW RESORT HOTEL
Information forums, job fairs to be held throughout area
SALAMANCA, NEW YORK - Seneca Allegany Casino is looking for approximately 450 new employees to staff its expanded casino and new 220-room resort hotel.
To officially start the recruiting and hiring process for the new Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel, officials from Seneca Gaming Corporation will be conducting a series of information forums and job fairs throughout Western New York, the Southern Tier and northern Pennsylvania over the next several weeks. Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel is scheduled to open later this year.
"The information forums are a way for us to get out into the surrounding communities and talk with candidates who may be interested in career opportunities at Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel, so they can understand exactly what we are looking for and what the various jobs entail," said Brian Hansberry, General Manager, Seneca Allegany Casino. "Based on what they learn at the forum, they can then come to one of the job fairs to officially submit their applications."
The recruiting events will start with information forums in Olean on Wednesday, July 12 at the Jamestown Community College Campus; Bradford, Pennsylvania at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford campus on Thursday, July 13; and at Seneca Allegany Casino on Friday, July 14. All events run from 12 Noon - 8 p.m.
The following week, on July 19 and 20, there will be job fairs at Seneca Allegany Casino where interested candidates can formally apply and interview for positions. The job fairs will also run from 12 Noon - 8 p.m.
Candidates can explore opportunities in every area of the casino and hotel operation, including Food & Beverage, Slot Operations, Table Games, Finance, Security, Marketing and Promotions to name a few.
Moving forward, information forums will be held at the following locations: Gowanda Legion Hall, July 26; Erie Community College South Campus, July 27; Springville Volunteer Fire Department, July 28; Jamestown Community College - Jamestown campus, August 8. All of the events will run from 12 Noon - 8 p.m.
Job fairs will be held at Seneca Allegany Casino on August 2, 3, 15, 16 and 30 from 12 Noon - 8 p.m.
The new Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel will boast 220 luxury hotel rooms, three new restaurants and a full-service spa. The project's completion will also trigger the transfer of the gaming operation from the current facility, which was built as a temporary casino, into the new building.
The new Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel will offer patrons 64,500 square feet of gaming, including more than 2,100 slot machines and more than 40 table games.
