OHIO WOMAN WINS $1.1 MILLION JACKPOT AT SENECA ALLEGANY CASINO
Award is largest in casino's history
SALAMANCA, NEW YORK - An Ohio woman left Seneca Allegany Casino with her pockets a bit more full than when she walked in.
Sharon Bathurst won a $1,130,821.42 jackpot while playing a 5-cent Game Show Greats slot machine at the casino Tuesday afternoon. The jackpot is the largest award in the history of Seneca Allegany Casino, which opened slightly less than two years ago.
"It's always a thrill to see one of our patrons win such a tremendous prize," Brian Hansberry, Chief Operating Officer, Seneca Allegany Casino, said.
Bathurst originally believed her jackpot was worth $100,000. She was incredible surprised - and happy - to find out how wrong she was.
The $1.1 million jackpot comes two weeks after a Dewittville, New York native won a $331,174 jackpot at Seneca Allegany Casino.
