SENECA ALLEGANY CASINO OPENS NEW PARKING GARAGE
Salamanca, New York, July 2005 - Seneca Allegany Casino celebrated the official completion of the latest stage in the property's development today, with the opening of its new 8-story parking garage.
"This latest stage of development signifies that Seneca Allegany Casino continues to grow as an entertainment destination not only for the people of Western New York, but for our many visitors from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Points near and far as well," Barry E. Snyder, Sr., President of the Seneca Nation of Indians and Chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation said.
Moments later, Snyder drove the first car into the new structure, signifying its official opening.
The parking garage houses approximately 1,850 parking spaces. On average, 14,073 cars are parked at Seneca Allegany Casino each month.
"The parking garage marks an important milestone for us," John Pasqualoni, President and CEO, Seneca Gaming Corporation, said. "Not only will our new garage make our patrons' visits more convenient, but it is designed to fit into our future plans as well."
Future plans call for the construction of a resort hotel on the Casino site. Work can begin as early as this year. Since its grand opening in May 2004, more than 2 million people have visited Seneca Allegany Casino.
"Seneca Allegany Casino will continue to grow and succeed," Snyder added. "We have received tremendous response in our first 14 months, and we will continue to develop a true jewel in the hills of Salamanca."
Seneca Allegany Casino features Vegas-style gaming and a Poker Room. The 122,000 square-foot Casino consists of table games including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let It Ride� and 3 Card Poker, more than 1,800 reel-spinning and video slot machines, two snack bars, Thunder Mountain Buffet, Eight Clans Gift Shop, live weekend entertainment and complimentary beverages while gaming. Free parking is available to patrons through complimentary valet services, self-parking areas, and an eight-story garage with covered walkway. The Casino is owned and operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
