There's No Place Like Home
Salamanca, NY, August 2004 - Barely four months ago, Bingo enthusiasts said goodbye to a beloved facility at 768 Broad Street in Salamanca when their games were moved up the road to the new Seneca Allegany Casino. Since that time, the Casino has been diligently renovating the Broad Street location in order to give patrons a "new and improved" locale for their favorite pastime.
On Friday, September 3, at 10:30 a.m., Seneca Allegany Bingo will open its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Rickey L. Armstrong, Sr., President, Seneca Nation of Indians, and Tina Abrams, Director of Class II Gaming, Seneca Allegany Casino and Council member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, will be on hand for the latest addition to the Seneca Allegany Casino family.
Seneca Allegany Bingo will offer three packet levels in the 8,740-square-foot facility, as well as high-stakes Bingo, which was introduced over the summer at Seneca Allegany Casino. Seneca Allegany Bingo can accommodate 480 patrons for games, smoking and non-smoking facilities, an increase of 30 seats over what was available at Seneca Allegany Casino. Two daily Bingo sessions will be offered. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. with early bird games at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Additional "Midnight Madness" sessions begin at midnight Friday and Saturday along with Saturday morning "Breakfast Bingo," when doors open at 9 a.m. for a session at 10 a.m. A variety of packages are available at different levels from $15 to $25 with different payouts. In addition, progressive jackpots are part of the entertainment mix where players can win thousands of dollars and have a chance to win a car.
"Bingo players are very important to Seneca Allegany Casino. That's why we're catering to their desires with a new facility exclusively for them," said Mr. Armstrong. "We're fortunate to be able to completely transform our Broad Street location to give them the same warm inviting atmosphere as at Seneca Allegany Casino, but in a place they can call their own."
"Patrons have told us that they longed for 'the good old days' of their local Bingo parlor," Ms. Abrams added. "We understand and are giving them the best of both worlds - a place that is familiar and comfortable but refreshed. It's like coming home."
For those patrons who enjoy both Bingo and the gaming Seneca Allegany Casino offers, the Casino is providing free shuttles that run continuously between the two locations 24 hours a day. In addition, Seneca Allegany Bingo will have more than 200 regular and 20 handicapped parking spaces.
A food court with food and beverages will be available. A staff of approximately 25 will serve the Bingo facility. The space vacated by Bingo at Seneca Allegany Casino will become the new Poker Room.
Located in the foothills of scenic Salamanca, Seneca Allegany Casino features Vegas-style gaming and a new Poker Room. The Casino's 48,000 square feet includes a main gaming floor with table games including Blackjack, Craps, Caribbean Stud Poker, Spanish 21 and 3 Card Poker, more than 1,700 reel-spinning and video slot machines, two snack bars, Thunder Mountain Buffet, Eight Clans Gift Shop, live weekend entertainment and a bus lobby. The Casino also offers free valet and self-parking and complimentary beverages while gaming. The Casino is owned and operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
