Banquet Bartender:The Banquet Bartender will provide friendly, excellent service to every customer who approaches the bar while preparing and pouring drinks for customers and beverage servers. The bartender will prepare drinks with proper portions and ingredients. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Banquet Server: The Banquet Server is responsible to provide guest with an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience that exceeds their expectations. In order to execute this goal you may be required to perform any combination of the following duties: welcome greeter, cocktail server, hors d'oeuvre passer, reception bus person, buffet runner, front server, back server, exit usher.   • Six (6) months previous food and beverage experience in an upscale outlet. Position requires the ability to perform wait and server standards within a specific time frame. Excellent guest relation skills and an ability to be attentive and anticipate all guest needs are necessary. (Be proactive)
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • Must have the ability to work indoors as well as in extreme temperatures
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, effectively speak, and interact with employees as well as customers.

Fine Dining

Fine Dining Waiter/Waitress: The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing professional, friendly, courteous service of food and beverage to every guest. Responsibilities include but are not limited to report on time, be well-groomed, and be hospitable, friendly, and polite with all guests, co-workers, and management using positive body language. Maintain full knowledge of menu, wine list and daily features along with being knowledgeable of the standards of American Service in a fine dining restaurant as well as proper wine service. Incumbent must have a strong understanding of the philosophy and goals associated with a fine dining server and be supportive of them at all times. Position requires ability to interact with the public, speak English clearly, and retain details, physical exertion in the form of walking, standing, turning, bending and lifting while carrying a large tray.

Count bank at the end of shift, separating room charges and comp tickets, completing paperwork. This requires mathematical skills and writing ability. The Bartender must also be able to work within a narrow space - approximately 4.5 foot wide behind bar. Stewarding

Kitchen Worker: The stewarding kitchen worker is responsible for all operations in their specific area. Duties include preparing tableware for washing, collecting all soiled pots, washing and re-stacking clean pots on shelves, removing garbage and refuse for recycling and mopping and sweeping floors. The Kitchen Worker is also responsible for properly maintaining and distributing company assets, setting up dishwashing machine, stacking and storing clean dishes in proper kitchen areas and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Monitor and ensure quality and efficiency of service at assigned area(s) of the .

Culinary

Cook 2: The Culinary Cook 2 is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of menu items. The Cook must be able to follow recipes and be accountable for daily food productions including but not limited to ability to rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas � each responsible for specific food items and each using particular cooking devices including continually refilling and replacing pans of designated items. Incumbent would also maintain proper food temperatures and complete HACCAP forms according to government regulations, have knowledge of recipes, equipment operation, and cooking and preparation techniques, review productions schedule and assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily cooking activities.

Cook 3: The Culinary Cook 3 is required to have experience in large volume cooking and small quantity cooking. The Cook must have the ability to follow production sheets and recipes accurately. Incumbent would be expected to be able to interact with Culinary Cook #4 to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities would include but is not limited to complete prep work, prepare and heat soups and sauces, perform back-up functions for the front line, notify Sous Chef in the event that supplies are running low, review production schedule to determine food requirements and prepare all food items with strict adherence to food specifications set out.

The Cook 4 will primarily work in the Buffet restaurant. Responsibilities would include but is not limited to carve and display meats, vegetables, fruits and salads; replenish service lines as needed, maintain proper food temperatures and complete HACCAP forms according to government regulations, keep station clean and free of debris, greet guest as eye contact is made, review production schedule to determine food requirements and prepare all food items with strict adherence to food specification set out in recipe manual.

Heavy Cleaner: The Heavy Cleaner will be responsible for the cleanliness of all public areas and non-public areas according to casino standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to operation of cleaning machines such as buffers, burnishers, carpet cleaning machines, escalators cleaning machines and other miscellaneous cleaning equipment to ensure consistent cleanliness. Incumbent will be requires to carry out individual assignments as well as working with a group also may be requires to complete light cleaning tasks such as restrooms and floor attendants.
Starting Rate: $9.00 per hour
License Type: Compact Non-Gaming
Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be familiar with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Public Area Attendant: Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Shift Manager, the Public Area Attendant will be responsible for the cleanliness of all public areas and both front and back of house areas according to casino standards. Includes but not limited to empty and provide clean ashtrays in the casino, clean, wash, and disinfect all floors, sinks an commodes of bathrooms and conduct routine inspection of bathrooms, wipe and clean exterior of all gaming devices, pick up litter and trash throughout the casino on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Housekeeping

Guest Room Attendant: Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring clean and orderly guest rooms while providing top quality customer service. A successful incumbent would service guest rooms using cleaning agents and equipment, remove inventory, replace soiled linens, organize and /or replenish room amenities and maintain a clean, orderly and adequately supplied cart. Other responsibilities would include but are not limited to promoting a positive public/employee relation, maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment and assist other departmental personnel as needed.
Starting Rate: $8.25 per hour

  • Prior hotel cleaning preferred

  • Must possess basic mathematical skills necessary for conducting inventories and counting linens

House person: Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, the incumbent provides support to the guest room attendants and maintains par quantities of textiles, amenities and cleaning supplies in designated areas. A successful incumbent would but not limited to inventory and stock central storage facility, work centers, and guest room attendant's carts with appropriate quantities of supplies, collect and inventory dirty linens removed from guest rooms and transport to designated area for laundry service, receive and inventory cleaned linen from laundry, Operate floor-cleaning equipment such as carpet scrubbers and vacuums, and visually inspect and perform routine service maintenance on light cleaning equipment. A House person would ensure quality service by delivering special request items (pillows, refrigerators, roll-away beds, ect.) promoting positive public/employee relations at all times.
